Every year, hundreds of tourists from different corners of the world visit Northern Mongolia to see and enjoy Lake Khuvsgul, “The Crystal Blue Pearl” of Mongolia. The lake is rich in fish species and the surrounding area abounds in wildlife like diverse species of birds, red deer, reindeer, bear, elk, moose, and wild Argali sheep. The minor ethnic groups, Reindeer herders and Darkhad people, inhabit this area with their unique culture, traditions and Shamanist religion.

Day 1

Ulaanbaatar  Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. After checking in hotel, we will enjoy leisure program of sightseeing around Zaisan Hill, nearby Buddha garden, Sukhbaatar square and National history museum. Enjoy traditional art perdormance and welcome dinner at restaurant Overnight in hotel /B.L/

Day 2

Ulaanbaatar – Amarbayasgalant Hiid  The trek follows valleys from Darkhan to the magnificent monastery Amarbayasgalant Khiid, once one of the three largest Buddhist centres in Mongolia. It is located in the Ivon Gol River Valley at the foot of the Burenkhan Mountains. It was built over a period of 10 years from 1726 to 1736. A few thousand resident monks served and studied at the monastery. The monastery was built to honor the memory of Zanabazar one of the great Buddhist leaders of Mongolia. After he died his remains where brought to be buried in this monastery.
During the Soviet purge the monks were persecuted, and some of the temples demolished. Restoration of the monastery began in 1990 after the fall of the Soviet Union. Today (2009) there are 50 resident monks, including ordained monks and those studying at Amarbayasgalant. Overnight in ger camp                      /B.L.D/

Day 3

Amarbayasgalant – Uran Togoo This mountain ranks as 4th highest mountain in Bulgan province It is located about 60 km directly west of Bulgan city around the extinct volcanoes Uran Togoo, Tulga Togoo, and Jalavch Uul. Uran Uul is a pretty good place to camping. We will here hiking. Overnight in tent.                                               /B.L.D/

Day 4

Uran Togoo – Khuvsgul is known as Dark Blue Pearl among beautiful mountains. Khuvsgul Lake is the perfect place to have vacation, kayaking, canoeing, hiking and trekking. Lake Khuvsgul is Mongolia 's largest and deepest lake. Located in the northernmost province, Khuvsgul Lake is the largest tributary stream of Lake Baikal in Russia. 96 rivers and streams flow out of Huvsgul, among them the Egiin River. Day 5

Khuvsgul see  The lake and its surrounding area have much to offer its guests. Options are hiking, bird watching, climb mountain, flower watching or just relax and enjoy the nature. Motor boating and kayaking, Visiting Reindeer herders’ family.  /B.L.D/

Day 6

 Khuvsgul see  - Khorgo Terhiin tsagaan  It has been protected since 1965, fully in 1997, to safeguard spectacular mountain scenery and endangered flora and fauna. The most area of the National park is covered by poplar and peach forest, where grow wild berries, rare herbs and great variety of berries and flowers. Khorgo volcano crater is situated at an altitude of 2210 m, 200 m wide and 100 m deep. Near the crater there are dozens of small caverns with stalactites hanging from their ceiling and walls. Because of volcanic eruption, the nature has very unique formation. One of them was deep ground cave with ice inside, which is called "Yellow dog's hell". The ice is left even in the hottest summer of the some years. Some of 13 stone shelters reach 1.7 m high, are formed with the lava flow. Another spot in this National Park is Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan which is 16 kilometers wide, 20 kilometers in length 20 meters in depth,  extremely beautiful with fresh water and rich species of fish and birds. Day 7

Khorgo Terhiin tsagaan – Tsenheriin Haluun Rashaan  This mineral water spring is located in Tsenkher soum Arkhangai aimag at 1860 m above sea level. 86C degrees hot spout from with a speed of 101/SEC. The mineral water has fluor and sulfite of sodium. The jet is observed a year around. We will relax here in mineral water spring. At night we will see Star of dark blue Sky. Day 8

Tsenheriin Haluun Rashaan –Kharkhorin – Elsen Tasarhai  Drive to Elsentasarkhai via Kharkhorin the capital of Great Mongolia Empire in thirteenth century. In 1380, Karakorum was destroyed. But approximately two centuries later, on the same site, there arose the yurt of Avtai Khan, founder of the Erdene Zuu Monastery. The great circular platform which form its base is still visible today. The monastery of Erdene Zuu is a focal point in the history and cultura of the Mongol people. We will visit the “Erdene-Zuu” Monastery. After the visit have a lunch, than travel to Elsentasarkhai. Overnight in tent                                        /B.L.D/

Day 9

Elsen Tasarhai  - UB  The main road separates Elsen Tasarkhai sand dune into two parts, Mongol Els on the south and Khugnu Tarnyn Els on the north. Elsen Tasarkhai sand is sodden under its surface, so shrubberies such as willow, elm and dogwood, grow in the area. Today we will ride a camel.  After Lunch drive to Ulaanbaatar. At the evening Farewell  & to go Concert. Overnight in hotel                                                    /B.L.D/
